Lesson Two, Vocabulary
The vocabulary for this lesson includes the following:
- Possessive pronouns:
moj 'my, mine', tvoj 'your, yours', njegov 'his', njen, njezin 'her, hers', njegov 'its', naš 'our, ours',
vaš 'y'all's', njihov 'their'
- Interrogative qualitative pronouns:
kakav 'what kind of', koliki 'how big'
- Common objects and concepts:
stan 'apartment', kuća 'house', auto 'automobile', sto, stol 'table, desk', ambasada 'embassy'
- Professions and other designations of people:
glumac 'actor', glumica 'actress', policajac 'policeman', susjed 'neighbor (male)', susjeda 'neighbor (female)',

- Spatial designations used as noun modifiers:
ovaj 'this (close to the speaker)', taj 'that (close to the listener)', onaj 'that (distant from both interlocutors)',
- Color terms:

It is always very useful to remember adjectives relating to features as pairs of opposites. That way you will remember them much more effectively. Remember also that many adjectives for features have alternations, as in: uzak-uska, nizak-niska, dobar-dobra, etc.
